Celebrating Diwali in London

A Festival of Lights at Indian Venues

As the vibrant festival of Diwali approaches, London is set to light up with celebrations that reflect the rich cultural heritage of India. George Shaw, Editor-In-Chief of  Taste London magazine, rounds up this season’s planned events at his favourite Indian venues, inviting everyone to join in the festivities.

Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. It is a time for families and friends to come together, light lamps, share festive meals, and celebrate the joy of the season. This year, London’s Indian restaurants and cultural venues are gearing up to offer a taste of this cherished festival.
