Founded in 2025 by Sonia Pash and Paweł, Bombolone Doughnuts was inspired by the founders’ discovery of traditional Italian bomboloni during a trip to Tuscany. After returning to London, they spent several months developing recipes to recreate the filled brioche doughnuts using slow-proved Italian dough and premium ingredients.
The bakery prepares its doughnuts fresh each morning, with fillings made from ingredients including real vanilla pods, Italian mascarpone and premium pistachio cream. Its menu features a variety of Italian-inspired flavours such as Pistachio Amore, Mama Mia Tiramisu, Crème Brûlée, Dolce Cheesecake and Vanillissimo.
Since opening, Bombolone Doughnuts has built a strong reputation among London’s food enthusiasts and has been featured in several food and travel publications.
Commenting on the achievement, co-founder Sonia Pash said the awards were “a fantastic endorsement of Bombolone’s commitment to craftsmanship, quality ingredients and the art of creating exceptional Italian-inspired treats.”
