Acclaimed London Hospitality Group Sets Sights on New York and Las Vegas with New Executive Team
JKS Restaurants, the renowned London-based hospitality group, is setting its sights on a major international expansion, and they’ve brought on a new leader to steer the charge.
JKS Taps New Global CEO for Indian Restaurant Expansion
Pavan Pardasani has been appointed as the new global chief executive for JKS’s portfolio of acclaimed Indian restaurants, which includes Trishna, Gymkhana, and Brigadiers. Pardasani joins the group at a pivotal time as it plans to launch its first US locations.
With more than two decades of executive experience, Pardasani’s career includes leading global marketing strategy and guest experiences at Tao Group Hospitality as its chief marketing officer. He also held leadership roles at Hakkasan Group and Catch Hospitality, where he was instrumental in launching several influential restaurant and lifestyle brands.
“Pavan is the perfect addition to our leadership team to help guide this exciting and pivotal expansion,” said Jyotin Sethi, one of the three siblings who founded JKS. “His deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset and passion for hospitality align perfectly with our vision for this next chapter as we continue to champion Indian cuisine globally.”
Pardasani will oversee all aspects of the existing London restaurants while spearheading the expansion into new international markets, with a primary focus on North America and the Middle East.
“This is a full-circle moment for me,” Pardasani said. “It’s an incredible honor to lead the global expansion of JKS’ Indian restaurants and to share the richness of our cuisine and hospitality on the world stage.”
Pardasani’s appointment coincides with other key hires for the US market, including Rob Rawleigh as US managing partner and Rick Tomich as US vice-president of marketing for JKS’s Indian restaurants. Laura Irving will remain as the managing director for the UK.
The group’s initial push into the US will begin in New York and Las Vegas. The first US location of Ambassadors Clubhouse is set to open at 1245 Broadway in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood this autumn. Following that, Gymkhana will launch at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas later this year.
This strategic expansion marks a significant step for JKS Restaurants as it brings its celebrated culinary brands to a global audience.
